In Discourse & Practice, students develop theoretical and reflective perspectives essential for understanding contemporary art’s role in society. Discursive workshops—both programme-specific and elective—support students in exploring diverse critical theories relevant to their research interests. The LABS course complements this by providing technical and method-based workshops in which students experiment with various media, materials, and methods. This flexible, practical approach is especially emphasised for MADtech students, who dive into technology-driven projects that push the boundaries of traditional and digital art practices.
