Admission and registration

Would you like to study at Minerva Art Academy? Then you must take admission. Each program has its own admission requirements and procedure. Therefore, we refer you to the programme pages for specific information. 

Admission requirements


You are admissible with a havo or vwo diploma with all profiles (N&T, N&G, E&M and C&M). With a mbo level 4 you are admissible from all fields.

Foreign diploma


You can be admitted with a foreign diploma if your diploma from the country of origin is equivalent to a Dutch havo or vwo diploma (with the desired profiles) or mbo level 4. Read more about admission with a foreign diploma here

Insufficient previous education


Even with insufficient previous education you can be admitted  the academy on the basis of 'exceptional talent' and a good performance in a Multicultural Capacity Test Higher Education (NOA). The test indicates whether you have HBO working and thinking level. The cost of this test is at your own expense.

Admission procedure


You will apply for your programme of choice through www.hanze.studielink.nl before May 1, 2025. For your application in Studielink you will need a DigiD. Do you not yet have a DigiD? Then apply for one in time via www.DigiD.nl. After registration, you will be given access to Hanze Aanmeld and the admission procedure will be started by the programme.

The admission process consists of several steps

  1. Upload the required files in Hanze Aanmeld
  2. Assessment by the program if the files are complete and invitation via email for admission. 
  3. Admission process specific to each program
