In the Performance Lab you can explore the world of installations, presentations, and performances using a wide array of media. It's a place where classical theatre performance and Time Based Art converge, offering a space for technical setups where various media interact seamlessly to craft immersive experiences. Here, the interplay of lighting, video, and sound takes centre stage.

Learn working with light using DMX and LX Console or QLC+. Alternatively, dive into the realm of media systems with QLAB, acting as the central hub. You can connect disparate hardware through MIDI, OSC, SMPTE, or Syphon, enabling you to craft intricate and interactive performances. Whether you're filming in the Performance Lab or working on assignments aligned with your Time Based Design studies, you'll find a versatile space for creative expression.

The Performance Lab boasts an extensive collection of theatre and studio lighting, including LED fixtures, as well as a rich array of media equipment. This infrastructure opens up countless possibilities for crafting performances and designing media installations that span diverse artistic directions.
