After spending the past few years at the AVP doing various creative projects - from musical projects to graphic design, video production, coordinating and producing events, acting and writing - Michelle is graduating with her musical project IT'S NOT MY TIME.

“When I start making new music, I ask myself, 'What is it that I need right now?' Could I use some extra happiness? Hope? Or do I just want to give my sadness the space? Or celebrate love? And based on that, I start creating. My music is like a recharge point for me, a place where I can go for a while to recharg and get new energy. What that music sounds like depends on what phase I'm in - every period brings something different.”
For my graduation project, I created different types of songs, each of which gives you a sense of power in a different way. IT'S NOT MY TIME is a combination of energetic rock, introspective indie and modern country, with songs about who you are and who you can become, about letting go of what no longer serves you and embracing chaos. It's about finding strength within yourself, persevering and keeping moving forward no matter the challenges.
