Programme Tuesday

Programme Friday

13.00-00.00 De Nieuwe Editie

In addition to a pop stage, there is a pop-up gallery showcasing the work of Minerva students and alumni. These are exhibited and sold through De Nieuwe Editie, a platform that puts emerging talent in the spotlight with the aim of making art accessible and giving new artists a stage. Everything you see and can buy is made by emerging Groningen artists, which not only showcases cool artworks, but also contributes to the development of local talent. De Nieuwe Editie's pop-up gallery constantly changes location and has previously been on show during Festival Grasnapolsky, Jonge Harten, Winterwelvaart and the Graduation Show, among others. The works shown by the Nieuwe Editie will be presented from 13.00 till 00.00 on Thursday and Friday.

Keynote: Mental Shit - Mental resilience in the (pop) cultural sector (By Patries van Iterson, lecturer Academy of Pop Culture)

Strengthening the mental resilience of students has become increasingly urgent. This is a worrying trend: students get stuck more and more often due to pressure from their studies, social environment or personal circumstances. With this in mind, we have developed several tools and initiatives at the Academy of Pop Culture to help students become more resilient. Additionally, with our international partners, we are making plans to develop a module that aims to deliver resilient students who can survive and thrive in today's music industry in order to shape a healthy, diverse international music ecosystem. Today, we will converse with colleages on this important topic.
